Orange Community Players is a community theater dedicated to providing quality non-professional theatrical performances in Orange County. As an all-volunteer organization we could not make these shows happen without YOUR help and we appreciate your interest in auditioning.
There’s a rustle in the bushes; There’s a tremble in the trees. Hear it like a whisper; Smell it on the summer breeze…
We are looking forward to showcasing our talented community in this show.
Performances will be July 24-27 at Orange High School in Hillsborough and tickets go on sale June 23rd.
OCP strives to bring together casts, crews, and production teams that reflect the rich diversity of our community. To promote an inclusive environment and provide opportunities for a wider array of people, casting decisions may include non-traditional choices in terms of gender, race, or other attributes.

This is my first audition. How can I prepare?
We love to have people who are new to musical theatre join our productions! Please do not feel intimidated by the audition process, especially the music. Seussical includes a variety of musical styles, ranging from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and R&B to funk. However, you are welcome to sing anything, from “Happy Birthday” to your favorite Broadway solo. Please email orangecommunityplayersnc@gmail.com with any questions.
